Casefriend Events help law firms organize case activity by linking documents, emails, tasks, and time entries to specific milestones. Events appear on the Case Timeline in reverse chronological order, making it easy to track recent activity and retrieve relevant information quickly.

📝 Create a New Event from the Timeline
Step-by-Step Guide
1️⃣ Open the New Event Form
- From the Case Timeline, click the Timeline menu
- Select New Event

2️⃣ Enter Event Details
- Choose the Event Type
- The Event Category will auto-populate based on the selected type
- Enter an Event Title
- Choose the Event Date (defaults to today)
💡Fill in any additional fields. Depending on your firm policies, some Events may require fields to be completed before saving.
3️⃣ Save the Event
- Click Save Event
✅ Your Event will now appear on the Case Timeline
