📧 Accessing Emails in the Hopper
❓ When to Use
Use the Emails tab whenever you need to:
- Check your inbox without leaving Casefriend
- Reply, forward, or compose new emails
- Attach emails to the correct case

✅ What It Does
The Emails tab displays your inbox and selected folders. From here, you can:
- Open and read emails
- Reply or forward messages
- Add emails to cases for accurate record-keeping
⚠️ You must first connect your firm email account to Casefriend before using this feature. Learn how to connect your email account.
1️⃣ How to Access the Emails Tab
- Click the Email icon when the Hopper is collapsed
- Or click the Email tab when the Hopper is open

2️⃣ Interacting with Emails
When you open an email from the Hopper, you can:
- Reply – Click Reply, compose your message, then click Send
- Forward – Click Forward, compose your message, then click Send
- Add to Case – Click Add to Case, select the case, and follow the prompts
3️⃣ Compose a New Email
- Click the New Email icon at the bottom of the Hopper
- Compose your email and click Send
⚠️ Emails sent from Casefriend will appear in your firm’s Sent Items folder.
📌 Email Status Indicators
- Bold text + vertical bar – Unread email
- No bar + normal text – Email has been viewed
- Case name displayed – Email has been added to a case
