Learn how to track and review documents added across all your cases using the My New Docs panel in the Hopper. This feature lets you view, preview, and manage new documents without leaving the case you’re working on.
📄 Accessing My New Docs in the Hopper
The Hopper is always available on the right side of your screen. Use the My New Docs tab to keep track of all new documents and incoming mail in one place.
❓ When to Use
Use the My New Docs panel whenever you need to:
- Review new documents added across your cases
- Preview or open documents without leaving your current case
- Track incoming snail-mail and subpoenas

✅ What It Does
The My New Docs panel displays all unviewed documents by default. From here, you can:
- Filter by document type (Subpoenas, Incoming Mail, or Documents)
- Preview or open documents in a new tab
- Mark documents as viewed or unviewed
- Add time entries after reviewing a document
⚠️ Incoming Mail is identified by a mailbox icon.
1️⃣ How to Access the My New Docs Panel
- Click the Document icon when the Hopper is collapsed
- Or click the My New Docs tab when the Hopper is open

2️⃣ Viewing and Previewing Documents
From the My New Docs panel:
- Click the document name to open it (your browser may prompt you to save or open)
- Click the Preview icon to view a quick preview
⚠️ When you view or preview a document, it will be marked as viewed in My New Documents but will not be removed from the list.
3️⃣ Marking Documents and Adding Time
- Click Viewed to mark a document as viewed
- Click Add Time Entry after reviewing a document to capture your time
- Mark a document as Unviewed in My New Documents to make it visible again in the Hopper
