๐งญ What Is a Sub-Out Case Download?
It is an unfortunate part of Work Comp defense that Cases can be transferred to another firm before resolution. Typically, with other case management systems, this is a time-consuming process that cannot be billed. Casefriend removes the cost of Sub-Out. Download all documents and e-mail added to a Case along with a Case Index report you can easily share with the other firm.
With Case Download you can:
๐ Download all documents and emails in a ZIP file
๐ Generate a Case Index for easy reference
๐ Close the case with a Sub-Out reason
๐ข Add the name of the firm taking over the case
๐ก Tip: Sub-Out actions are logged for compliance and can be reviewed in the Case Timeline
๐ Downloading a Case
1๏ธโฃ Open the Case Download Form
From the Caseload right click on the Case you want to download/Sub-Out and select the Download (Sub-Out) option
2๏ธโฃ Review the Download Summary
Youโll see a message confirming your download action along with the Case name and Client. Review your choice carefully!
โ ๏ธ Note: This process may take a few minutes depending on the size of the case.
When your documents are ready you may click the .zip file link to download your documents.
๐ Sub-Out to Another Firm
If you're transferring the case to another firm check the box labeled:
โClick here if you are sending this case (โSub-Outโ) to another firm. The case will be closed with the reason Sub-Out.โ
Enter the name of the firm taking over the case in the Firm Name field.
โ ๏ธ The case will be marked as Closed with the reason Sub-Out.
